Basic electronic processes and sawing decisions made entirely by operators at the sawmill have been enhanced and improved by computers and scanning systems. These advances mark a change from a physically demanding environment where decisions were less consistent to an automated process. Swanson-Superior employees are critical in operating the machinery, keeping an eye out for potential problems and providing valuable feedback for further improvements.
